Any of you have parents like this?
I'm 19, the youngest of three, living at home and I just started seeing this guy (the only one my parents have ever known of). The thing is that they treat me much younger, except the one night I said I was going to a party with him in the cities (about 50mins away) and they said I should stay the night at his house (he also lives at home) but on a couch. Needless to say that I didn't, but they still think of me as so innocent even when I have come home with hickies. Should I tell them to let go or keep the illustion going?

In a perfect world your parents would accept you as the person you are. Oh wait, that is how our world is supposed to be....My mom always told, "make sure you use a condom!" I didn't need to tell her what was going on, but just know that I had her support. I don't think your parents are stupid, remember they were your age at one point in your life. I say, just do what you do, and sooner or later, they will have to realize their baby is all grown up! Good luck with it!

I really think your sex life is none of your parents business. Why do you feel they need to be involved? I also say wait a while. Life goes too fast.
