what animals?????

I need to know what animals it is safe to give benadryl to? I have to move a couple animals and they need to be sedated, I know benadryl is safe for dogs and cats but is it safe to give to unrully goats that need sedated to be able to move. I do not want to use tranquilizers and i want to do this safely. If i do not sedate the poor things they will get so upset they may hurt theirself. If not benadryl, then what can i use?

Serious answers please.

Update:

I do know how much per pound to use on animals, i am just looking for a safe way to sedate these animals as the tranquilizer you get from the vet you have to give them another dose to reverse the effects and i do not want to do it this way.

Update 2:

I have called the vet, the farm vet was out on a call, the techs could not tell me as it has to do wfith farm animals and not a dog or cat. I am waiting for the vet to return my call BUT the goats have to be moved this morning, not this afternoon.

Contact your vet. Don't medicate without asking. For instance dogs can have a tylenol but it will kill a cat.

yeah, go on with your sedate thing. if you think and you confirmly confident with your knowledge.

if u success, then it should be okay.

if u fail, then your goats would have fatal(heh heh)

by any mean, if you unsure by yourself, take the advices. ask the expertise, don't do any misfortune..
