Brees @ Dallas or Brady @ Miami?

Brees is having an excellent year and Brady is a consistent Q.B who always steps up. I would go with Brady, Brees is playing a good defense in Dallas that has a lot of momentum going there way.

Big "D" is back! New Orleans is going to have a hard time staying in this game with their sub-par defense going up against Romo and the 'boys. Because of that I expect another Marino-like day from Brees. I'm thinking close to 325 with 2 or 3 TD's.

Brady will play a bit more of a clock management and ball control style offense against a solid Miami defense. I look for New England (and Brady) to win their game, but for Brees to have the much better Fantasy day. Good luck!

Brees would be my choice. He has shown great ability to put up fantasy numbers, win or lose. He also has some fantastic receivers helping him accomplish these stats. Also, if Dallas has one weakness on Defense, it's the DBs (sure Roy Williams is great, but he's just one guy, and isn't the best at pass coverage).

Brady on the other hand, is the QB that finds ways to win, but not necessarily with great stats or fantasy point production. He has some decent/young receivers, but they still seem to be working on their timing issues. Also, the Miami Defense is really starting to come on late in the season. In the last two years, Miami has become a December force, knocking off the Patriots in Foxboro in '04, in a game where Brady looked horrible.

Tough choice but the magic 8-ball would go with Brees. They have the #1 rated pass offense attack. Miami's and Dallas' ranked pass defense is right about the same. Expect Brees to find the holes in the defense. With the revamped Dallas offense, I predict this game will turn into an aerial assault. Brees throws for 300 and 3 touchdowns and 1 pick. Etch it in stone baby!

1.) He leads the league in passing yards and threw for 500 yds in a game.

2.) Dallas will put points on them early causing Brees to fire away.

I would go with Brees - the last few games he has really been hitting his stride with passing for 300+ yards a game.
