Water has been found on Mars. Why didn't life evolve there too?

Why did life not evolve there similar to the Earth? Score one for creationism.

Update:

You guys are so full of your own selves. If life could never occur on MArs why are scientists so amazed with the rock found here they say came from Mars that has what they hope is a fossilized life form?you cannot have it both ways. And why send rovers there to roll around and send back samples with hopes of finding life.

Thats not what the Creator wanted.

    Cheers!

Creationists score nothing until they prove that there is a man living in a cloud. What seems to be the problem with that? (they don't want to talk about it). If you think that the Earth is the only planet with intelligent life on it you are in for a big surprise. Maybe you should start working on an excuse for when that happens. Because that day will come. The religions dread scientific advancement in space travel. They know what the future holds. That's why they're working so feverishly now to accumulate money and power while they can.

I'm not aware that water has been found on Mars.only that there is evidence of some kind of water like activity in the past.

Who said life didn't evolve there? Maybe there was life that went extinct due to planetary changes? Maybe the atmosphere is toxic to any life form.

Since we are still in the robotic and unmanned phases of Mars exploraton,it would be almost impossible to determine if life exists or ever existed there.

Have you ever given it some thought that maybe at one time life HAD existed? The government hides things they don't want the public to see. Who knows if and how many photos of Mars were touched up to keep us from seeing what is actually there. There could've been life at one time. There could've been some type of catastrophy that destroyed existing life and making the planet inhabitable. Don't be so closed minded to think that this couldn't be possible.

    Wow you are incredibly stupid.

I know I am wasting my breath but let me lay it out for you, genius.

First it has not been proven it was actually water in liquid form, only what COULD be CAUSED by water. Second we have explored less then 0.2% of the SURFACE of Mars. There could be life on any of the other 99.8% or beneath the surface. Finally not finding life (yet) where water might exist does not give any support to creationism. There is no law of evolution that states where water is you are guaranteed to find life.

But as I said, I am sure I am wasting my time explaining it to you.

Not too fast! No one has found water on Mars yet, just apparent evidence that some substance has been there is a liquid state.

But, I believe in creation anyway.

    Moron.

Water is important and it needs to stick around. Take a look at Mars sometimes, water is present only at the poles and only in the form of ice.

Also, there is the small matter of oxygen. On Mars it's caught in the form of Carbon dioxide and Iron oxide.

Tell me, do you enjoy looking like a moron? Because you seem to revel in it...

What are you going to say when they do find martian life? Anyway, since carbon dioxide frequently liquifies on the surface (at -107C), conditions for life are a bit harsh. But I'll grant you one point, congratulations for Creationism's first point. It'll be the last.

Technically water was not found on mars, only the possibility that there is/was/could be water on mars. Nothing conclusive.

I think we don't know that much about the Mars Planet. I do not believe we are suppose to know. God created all these planets for a reason. I think they we're more inteligent people then us. They can make flying saucers. I think one day in our future it will all come together. And we will know alot more than we do now. I HOPE SO!

well once mars is in the same place the earth is too then there will probably be life in mars too...
