Technically No. Once pregnant your period stops. But it is possible to have bleeding and spotting. Are you having any pain with it? Either way you need to inform your doctor about it, so that they can figure out if it is any thing serious. ::Wishing you the best of luck:: I've listed a link below so that you can see the difference in spotting and bleeding [and all the different types and cases] Good Luck!

It's not normal but it is possible regardless of what others may think. My aunt had her period the whole 9 months she was pregnant. I have a older cousin that was on her period for 7 months with 1, and 4 months with the other 3. They all were carried full term and nothing was wrong. I'll admit that it would be kind of hard to take a pregnancy test when that happens because it will show up negative. The only sure way *To me!!!* to tell if the person is pregnant while they still expierence having a period would be a ultrasound.

Yes. My aunt was pregnant and had her period for 4 months into her pregnancy. Some have lighter periods than before. Everyone's body is different and reacts slightly different. I believe her.

Here is a website that says slightly different.http://www.babycenter.com/expert/preconception/get...

Question: Can you be pregnant and still get your period?

Answer: Well, no, you can't get your period once you're pregnant — once your body starts producing the hormone human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and your pregnancy is established, your menstrual cycle is interrupted and normal periods stop. But you may have bleeding or spotting during pregnancy that can seem like a period.

Some pregnant women have what's called "implantation bleeding" that can happen around the time their period is due, and they may mistake that bleeding for a period. This spotting may be caused by the fertilized egg burrowing into the blood-rich lining of the uterus, a process that starts just 6 days after fertilization, and it's generally a lot lighter than a typical period — just a day or two of very light spotting.

If you're pregnant and you're not sure when your last period started, this can make establishing a due date difficult for your healthcare provider. If you have any doubts, your provider can feel how big your uterus is with a pelvic examination and estimate how far along you are. In most cases, your provider will also order an ultrasound before the middle of your pregnancy to measure the size of your developing baby and clarify exactly when the baby is due.

Many women who bleed a little bit in early pregnancy deliver without any complications, but bleeding can also be a cause for concern. It may be the first sign of a miscarriage. If so, your symptoms probably will go on to include heavy cramping and bleeding much heavier than a normal period.

Abnormal bleeding can also be a sign of ectopic or tubal pregnancy. If you have sharp pains in your lower abdomen, especially if the pain is only on one side, you should see your practitioner right way to find out if you have an ectopic pregnancy. A tubal pregnancy can be life-threatening, and sometimes the only symptom is bleeding around the time your period is expected. Often, the period may be lighter than usual. Sometimes a home pregnancy test will be negative, and the pregnancy can only be detected by checking blood hCG levels.

If you bleed at all early in your pregnancy, it's best to notify your doctor or midwife to get specific instructions. She may suggest getting a blood test to check your hCG levels or order an ultrasound to evaluate your condition more thoroughly.

It wouldn't be the same as a regular period. It would be shorter and lighter than normal. If if even looks remotely close to your actual period I would get it checked out. Red blood is usually a red flag that there may be something wrong. If you are clotting too you will probably not be pregnant.

But woman can spot during pregnancy. It's rare but some do.

if you are pregnant then you can not have a period because a period is the shedding of the uterine lining and egg that was not fertilized. BUT you can be pregnant and have implantation bleeding. if you are unsure, take a pregnancy test.

Yes. I never did but I had a couple of friends who did, one did not know or rather did not think she was pregnant for almost 4 months! Go figure!? But if you have not already get a test, find out and go to the doctor for sure..

No. When you are pregnant your periods stop. The period is the lining of the uterus that the ifetus attaches to. If a pregnant woman bleeds it means she is in danger of losing the fetus.

so you're saying that you had sexual intercourse while on your period? i just wanted to clarify. most likely not, because sperm stays inside another body for 72 hours and will eventually die. since you are on your period, the egg is already withdrawing blood, so least likely, but i recommand using a condom next time. but however, if you had sex and then had a period, you can still be pregnant. especially a late period. just wait for your next period comfirm.

Yes, my mother had her period for the first four months of her first pregnancy. They told her it was a tumor. That tumor turned into my brother. SEE A DOCTOR.
