Have any of you tried online dating?

I've tried it. Go slow, trust your gut instinct. If you're not comfortable with anything, back out. I've tried match.com, eharmony, yahoo singles, and others. I know a very happy couple who met on match. Theirs has been a great experience, but they're not all so great.

Yes, I have done online dating and I still do..I have had good experinces..As long as you are carefull...I could write a book about it for you, but we do not have enough room....LOLOL...I have met some really great people, even if the date did not go well...Since we are here on Yahoo, why not try Yahoo personals...I have found that they have the most profiles to look at with people from my area.

No i don't do online dating because too much things are happening on dating sites.

yes i have tried online dating. i had some bad experiences. a lot of people online are phonies. i used dreammates and match. if you ever use them. do a background check on them and always meet them in a public place. be careful.

it's gone now but geocities used to have a romance/dating chatline. i spent hours on there back in the late 90s. eventually made several lady friends.. ended up meeting several in person for dates.. 2 ended up becoming girlfriends..

i thought it was great because we could get to know each other really really well thru e-mails and phone calls, so by the time we were ready to see each others pics, and eventually meet in person, we already had this special connection.

only problem was that they were long distance relationships, and it both cases, it was not feasible for one of us to move closer, so that was the end.

Yes. I met my husband online. I went to www.christianmingle.com, but I think now it has changed to www.relationships.com. But anyway, it was kinda scary but we really got to know each before we met. We "connected' in January, met in March, married in November. So my experience was GREAT!!!!!!!!!! But, that is not always the case.....so be careful and good luck.
