Why is it that Lemon Pie contains artificial lemon and Dishwashing detergent contains Real Lemon?

I looked up the lable of Lemon Pie bought at the Grocery store this week and also Lemon Dishwashing Soap (Joy Brand) and was amazed!

    Real lemon is really strong and can overpower other flavors that may be in the pie. Also, some people may be allergic so it gives them a way to eat it without having a reaction.

    I'm not sure, but it sounds good!

    ...you bought a cheap pie, that's why; most people baking use REAL lemon...so drink the dishwasher detergent...
