HP Printers - Error after Power Loss, how do I restart the print queue?

I have a wireless, and bluetooth HP 3310 All in one printer. When the print software is loaded, it takes 15 minutes, then it tries to do it again from the internet. After it is set up, if I loose power on the computer(s) on my network, the printer will not print again. The error I get says that the Print Services/Que needs to be restarted. How do I do this? HP Has no mechanism to ask them, their books do not explain it, and they do not answer emails about this. Please help. Thanks!

Update:

I forgot to mention, if I remove the printer software and reload the software, I can get it to work again. I am tired of reloading software just to print, so I hardwired it to my desk computer, which defeats the purpose of paying for wireless. Thanks in advance for your help.

Update 2:

The computers are all Windows based. HP is no help! Nothing is in the queue. The print Queue will not start.

What kind of computer are you using? Not knowing if it is a mac or a PC, I would just comment that the print queue usually runs on the computer, not on the printer.

    On a Mac

    1) Open the Printer Utility

    2) Double click on the printer (This opens the printer)

    3) Delete any queued print jobs by highlighting any files in your print queue, then click delete

    4) Click Start Jobs (or just click on stop jobs, then click on start jobs)

p.s. If you have had your printer for less than a year, it is probably still under warranty. You can call the customer service line and they will help. I have the same printer and I have been helped by customer service.

START MENU-CONTROL PANEL- Printers and Faxes. In XP look for suggested tasks on left . One says see what’s printing. If there is a print job left in the queue it will appear there. Highlight the your choice . Go to Document clk resume. If your document is not in the queue you have to go back to the file to be printed and select print again .
