When our government pays millions of dollars to bring people here and give them jobs and equipment, while our own people go homeless and jobless....

When our vice president shoots someone and the person who got shot apologizes.....

When a major airport takes their Christmas display down to appease one angry Jewish lawyer.....

When all of a sudden our faith makes us "dumb"....

When I have to hide my Bible under my car seat when I go pick up my grandkids from school......

In other words, a long time ago..........

When people start making up ridiculous ways to refer to others. Case in point:

There's no such thing as an African American, unless that person has dual citizenship. If you're dark skinned and American...You're black. And you're not African. Otherwise I demand to be referred to as an Anglo-Scottish Canadian instead of 'white'. And my significant other will have to be Germanic-Russian Canadian. My good friend a Thai-Anglo Australian.

Truly it's beyond ridiculous when you have to refer back to people's backgrounds like this. I'm sticking to 'black' and the hell with what's currently politically correct. Years and years ago "*****" was acceptable. Then it was "Coloured" that was acceptable. Then it was "Black". Now it's African American. What Next?

    True story.

In October a local council which if I remember correctly was in Yorkshire UK,banned it's staff from using the term "Politically correct" as they thought it might cause offense. In other words the term politically correct was no longer politically correct.

In my humble opinion, when we can't laugh at ourselves, that's when political correctness has gone way too far.
