Okay so no one has answered my other question. Please? What do you use to clean vinyl tile?
Seriously, this is important. We have to do a science fair project, and we won't get anywhere if no one answers. If you wouldn't mind, make it something we can buy in a spray bottle or something simple like that. We want to see which is the best. We need like twenty answers, so please please help us.

1. In a plastic squirt bottle, fill 1/2 full of water. Then fill the rest of the bottle with Pine-Sol. Working on 1/4 of the floor at a time, spray the cleaner on the floor and mop with a damp mop. No rinsing needed.
2. Do the same thing as #1 using white vinegar.

There are lots of different things you can buy in a spray bottle at the grocery store. Just buy different things and see how they all react to the same stain or soil. Take notes on how each one cleaned the sample and then give your reccomendation on the best one. Be careful, do not mix different chemicals together, you run the risk of inadvertantly creating a toxic substance. Hope This Helps!! Good Luck!!

I use my Swiffer Wet Jet most of the time but now and then I get down and scrub it with a Magic Eraser. I only have it in my two bathrooms I also use Clorox Clean wipes around the toilet because I have a 3 year old who is potty trained but not aim trained. I have a 49 year old with the same problem but that is for another question.

Pine sol is my favorite but if you need a spray use 309 or fantastic or any spray cleaner. Even just bleach and water will do, vinyl isn't that hard to clean.

I would try Pine Sol, Kaboom, Mr. Clean... Any of those work great. Even Comet works great and they have a new formula in a spray bottle. Good luck with your project!

Mr. Clean, PineSol or ammonia work best for me. Also, you can scrub the floor with Cascade diswashing detergent, but it takes a LOT of rinsing!
If your aim is "shine" try raw eggs. Seriously, the shine will surprise you!

Methylated spirits diluted with water may do the trick, along side, pine-o cleen. Also acetone (nail polish remover, but dilute it first, you dont want big gaping holes in your vinyl. Other than that, the good old, elbow grease does wonders too!!! :)
