Should all USA employers be required to use the 'Basic Pilot Employment Verification Program'?

Update:

I.D. theft was the reason the feds raided because of the activity stimulated by the status requests that didn't match.

Update 2:

Swift was eight months of investigation. This system could be improved like most of goverment, but it is a good beginning to a major problem that effects everyone directly or indirectly.

OMG, thank you. I love you! Its already saved to favorites.....I don't really need it but I will use it anyway. Most of my employees I know personally but it seems like a great service. I would work with group to make it mandatory.....Seems fabulous!

A problems with it is that it says if the ssn is valid it does not match it up with the name it was issued too or lat least this was the excuse Swift used.. They need to have the IRS and SSA talk to each other.

I had my ID stolen - several years and several thousand dollars later it still pops up from time to time. The police report I filed saved me. The police didn't help but the report did. I was my proof.

Why? Swift did have this program and were still targeted.

its a catch 22 We violate civil rights of legal immigrents on the basis of race and nationality.

Yet called consperatiors if we dont.

Swift meat packing company uses it and yet they were raided by the feds yesterday for hiring illegal aliens. It sounds like a pretty worthless program to me.
