For Jewish friends, do you believe in hell and devil or not and why?

I'm curious. I just want to see the reasoning behind not believing in demons and hell? I still have an open mind about it.

We go by the Bible, which some people call the Old Testament. Hell isn't in there. Satan shows up in Job, and of course the serpent is in Genesis, but there really isn't mention otherwise of demons.

the devil is no more than an agent of G-d.

he is not a rebel or an evil force but rather a tool. He is the obstacle we must push though and over to reach the finish line. To say that the devil acts against G-d's direct will is saying that G-d powerless to stop it.

As for hell, it is again for 99.9% of the population only a tool. Hell (Gehenna) is only there to purify what ever sin (imperfection) is left on our souls when we die. So when we are clensed of these imperfections we recived what ever reward that we earned from our life.

Most Jews believe in no afterlife. Which is fine because since they killed the prophets and the vineyard owner's son, they aren't going anyhow.
