How do you clean the door sensor in a vehicle so that the door ajar light goes off?
Even when the doors are shut tight the light says door ajar and the dome light stays on. I have to remove the lights so that my battery does not wear down. It happens randomly and is a pain. Thanks for the help!

You most likely have a bad door switch. Remove or disconnect them one at a time and when the light goes out that,s your bad switch.

first find out which door it is and just unplug the sensor or replace it - cleaning it does not solve the problem... and there should be a switch or a wheel that will manually shut those lights off so you dont have to unplug the bulbs

Spray some WD-40 or something like it on the latch mechanism on the door. That should fix the problem.

Take the bulb out, who unquestionably makes use of those lamps to get out and in of the vehicle besides. you be responsive to the place the seat and seatbelts are. it could desire to be that the button which switches it on and rancid has shorted for some reason.
