Currently there are no direct links that have been substantiated by the medical community. However, nearly 60% of breast cancers occur in breast tissue adjacent to the armpit. It is best to avoid deodorant containing aluminum if you can, especially if you have a family history of cancer.

Yes, although I am not sure if there is enough complete scientific evidence to back this up. The scientists claim that the aluminum in the deodorant is likely to heighten a woman's chance of getting breast cancer because the underarms are located so closely to the breasts and of course, when the body absorbs that aluminum it is not healthy for you.

as i understand it, there is no conclusive evidence that the aluminum zirconium in anti-perspirants (not deoderant) causes breast cancer.
now that being said, there are some interesting theories out there about this, one of the foremost being that b/c perspiration is a way of the body to release toxins clogging those pores up could cause toxin build-up and then cancer. or that aluminum zirconium is a toxin in and of itself.
but my best advise is to be safe. dont use anti-perspirants right after a shower or shaving the underarm. also if you dont sweat too much, dont both with it at all, just use a natural salts deodorant.
hopefully we'll have some conclusive evidence one way or the other soon!

My complete relations makes use of purebodyscent deodorants for various motives... a million. They artwork somewhat nicely for each age. 2. large for mushy pores and skin (even hyperhidrosis). 3. No hydrogenated oils or aluminum. 4. they're very lengthy lasting. 5. They scent impressive. we've been utilizing them for extra or less a 12 months now. for sure we like this variety. wish this helps.

I really think so. Even companies denies it so it won't hurt their sales.
Our skin can soak in elements.
People have used essential oils and it would lower their blood pressure or raise certain positive levels in the blood. So it makes sense that our skin can soak in aluminum.
I use the aluminum kind sparingly for special occasions.
Otherwise I use a natural kind with baking soad in it. It helps the odor but doesn't keep you from sweating.
I think it's better to be safe then sorry,

No, there haven't been any cases. This was an e-mail rumor that was spread around a few years ago. Doing a quick Google will pull up medical sites that explain this, and refute the claim.

there were doctors who have told me it cud cause cancer, either skin cancer or breast cancer, if u have body odors, just let ur armpits perspire, these are toxins that must come out so you cud hev a better health. aluminum i think prevents skin from perspiring. try lemon at night on ur armpits...

the aluminum in anti-perspirant can cause cancer, I would sugest that you use rock salt that can be found in local health stores.
