Very astute observations. I hope not, I don't wish a relapse on any alcoholic or drug abuser. But, the pressure he is under? It wouldn't be a shock.

EDIT: What is wrong with you people that say him having a drink isn't any of our business and there's nothing wrong with it? The man is an ALCOHOLIC. He's our Commander-in-Chief - it sure as hell IS our business. If any of you have ever spent time around a true alcoholic, which he is, just use your mind's eye to put that person, drinking again, in the Oval Office and give him a world crisis to deal with. wow you don't know the man personally but you can tell all of that just from photos? they ought to hire you as a psychic or something. red face, puffy eyes...hmmm might be from keeping a mostly 24/7 itinerary, repeating phrases, messing up words...hmmm, might be because he has to give speeches and talk to a lot of ppl everyday about a myriad of subjects...personally anyone who judges someone they don't know by a picture or interview without considering other factors then the ones they want to consider to prove their skewed point has some serious issues of their own. he's a human being just like you and me and he has a high pressure job without much support and lots of attacks...he's going to get tired, he's going to suffer from jet lag and other things that normal ppl do...give the guy a break, he's only human and if you think you could handle his schedule under the pressure he's under then have at it and we'll all sit back and analyze ever single word you utter and every single action you take, every eye wink, every scratch...everything and follow you around 24/7 and harass you until you make a mistake...lets see how you handle it.

So what if has a drink now and then. Try running the USA you will be running for the bottle too. Bush is a fine man. So show some respect and stop speculating wheather he drinks or not. It is none of your business. Got that ??- none of your business .

He drank in college & right after - he quit when he was 40 & is now 60. I think we can trust Laura to keep & eye on him. You may want an extra meeting though, since you are so good reconizing the signs.
