Annual credit report question?

I know that you can get three free credit reports a year from www.annualcreditreport.com. My question is, if I get three per year, does my husband also get three per year? Does it go by individual social security numbers, or is it three per household? Thank you for the help! :)

You can each get one free report from each credit reporting agency each calendar year. Each individual person has his own credit report, and so is entitled to a free copy each year.

yes each person is allowed one free credit report from the big three credit reporting agencies. so you get three free but only one from each company.
