Mac mini config question, first good answer = best =]?

Hey guys, im planning on getting another mac mini, it will have Intel core duo 1.83ghz processor, 1gb of ram and 80gbs of hard drive space, i was looking at there reviews but most of them were outdated from 2005, saying that mac minis are slow and don't by them.

I'm wondering if this configuration would go fast?

Thanks

Mike, The speed of a computer is subjective. What might be fast for you may be slow for me. It really depends on what you want to do with the computer. For browsing the internet and word proccesing, then your mini would be more than enough for this tasks. If you are planning on editing videos for Universal studios, then you might have some issues. Really, it depends on your needs. Most people want the fastest PC on the market and never go close to using the PC's full potential. I good rule of thumb is to look at all of the programs that you use or might use and make sure that your computer meets the suggested requirements to run the program. Good luck.

    Cheers!
