Apologiews to P. J. O'Rourke - a joke that defines the Australian people?

Bruce came up to his bride Sheila one morning.

"I'm feeling toey, Sheila. Howzabout we have a bonzer fight?"

"I can't, Bruce. I'm feeling tapped - I've got my period."

"What the bloody hell's that, Sheila?"

"You know - On the Rag? Red Sails in the Sunset? Freddie's visiting?" Noting Bruce's vacant expression, Sheila sighed, dropped her shorts and showed him her bloody pad.

"Jesus!" exclaimed Bruce, shocked. "No wonder you're bleeding - some bastard's come along and cut your c*ck off!"

Update:

Noney, I doubt you're Australian. You've never heard of Midnight Oil's album, Red Sails in the Sunset? Where do you think that came from?

As for the 'leave it to the professionals' - this is a P.J. O'Rourke joke. He fits that bill. Mate.

Well I'm Australian and I don't know what any of these phrases mean. Is it supposed to be funny? Maybe best to leave comedy to the professionals.

Sorry to disappoint you, but not all aussies listen to midnight oil, my parents may, but that was before cds.
