he loves you but he is afraid of tiying the knot. for many people, being committed to another person does not mean that they have to be married to this person. being married for him reminds him of the possibility of going through another difficutl divorce while being with you and loving you he can just walk away when things get to the point of divorce.

Stop thinking too highly of yrself.someone gives u a ring and u thinkl he wants to marry you.Get real ! friends often gives and buy presents even rings for friendship etc.HE DOESNT WANTS TO REMARRY AND YET U THINK HE WANTS U ... zzzzzz

It might means that he is really serious with you..

However since he said that he doesn't want to remarry again, you might want to ask him about the ring..

It could be he has changed his mind..

if he got u a ring but didn't propose, it means that he's not proposing, maybe he got that ring just because he thinks that it would look nice on ur finger.
