What software/hardware does I need to transfer 8mm videos from a handycam to my PC?
I have an 5 yearold Sony handycam and I what to transfer all my videos to DVD, but I don't know how or where to go?

u will need an analog to digital converter, they usually come with an editing pgm like intervideo win DVD. this will accept the RCA jack and plug into your computers usb or firewire

You should be having a data transfer cable and a CD along with your handycam.
Connect cable from you handycam to your PC, If your OX is XP then most probably you'll have the drivers installed to copy to PC, else use the CD to copy video from handycam to PC.
