People don't like to be wrong. Also, there is always that 30 or so percent that will always support anything a Republican does just like there is about 30% that will always support the Democrats. Plus, some people still do believe the lies this administration has fed us, some want the whole Middle East bombed until no one is left alive there, some think war against the Middle East is justified because they are Muslims. But I think mainly its just the 30% thing.

Maybe all those Americans are really ignorant. They aren't really human. After all all those things that Bush has done to this world, they still support him. I just want you people,-who support Bush, and as well as Bush, if you are reading this one- to feel what the other feel when you got war around you like what happened in Iraq for example. I know,he did all these things probably because he want to get the oil resources. Or maybe he want to prove the America is the strongest?! Well,Bush, you are one of the most ridiculous president. You use terrorist and the 9-11 as your reason to conquer middle east..

Because some of his actions are still the right thing to do. The destruction of the Taliban and Saddam, with the ensuing liberation of Afghanistan and Iraq, were the correct thing to do, even if some of the planning proved mistaken.

(There is no "War, Occupation and Nation-building for Dummies" books out there - every single war is sufficiently unique to be guesswork and trial & error in operation. To think otherwise is to embrace folly )

But the goal was both noble and necessary; these efforts were undertaken with long, careful and deliberate planning, and supported not just US goals, but most of the world's goals of eliminating terrorist-supporting nations, with the additional hope that the people liberated would embrace democracy and peace.

This was not petty warmongering or war for oil or any stupid thing like that. These were necessary actions, though risky, in an effort to stop the growth of terrorism in the world.

Terrorism didn't just spring out of nowhere since Bush was elected - al Qaeda and other jihadists have long attacked American and Western targets, and because of their successes, and Clinton's repeated failure to take action, their numbers grew, as did the danger they represented. With the addition of state sponsors who had WMD capability, the imperative to act was unquestionable.

I would say that the current worsening situation is less due to Bush, and more due to those who failed to support it, the weak-willed countries, the war-at-any-price zealots, the media who only show negatives and who believe the enemy propagandists more then they do the White House, etc. Without all this support for the insurgency and the demonstration of unwillingness to endure the long and hard road to victory, why wouldn't our enemies be encouraged?

The real question is why anybody would support liberals, leftists, Democrats or other weak-willed surrender monkies, who seek a policy of appeasement and cowardice.

Because he is the President, elected by the people. I do not agree with everything any President does or has did. But, you do not like the current President instead of whining about it. Get on board with your policital party and set a course for change in 2008. Whatever that maybe.

Bush is no better than any other President. Funny how everything is the President's fault everytime. Easy to forget the "checks and Balances" I guess.

Many believe as he does. These people believe that going ino Iraq adn ending the brutal regime of Saddam Hussein was the right thing to do. I don´t necessarily disagree, but I do disagree with how it has been handled. One thing to keep in mind when i comes to politics is when you find someone who shares your beliefs, you tend to stick by them and ignore some of their faults. I admit that I am willing to look past the faults of some of my favored leaders and try to see the good in them. Bush´s supporters are doing just that. I don´agree, but I understand it.

America is a big place with room enough for all kinds of opinions.

Because most Americans are completely ignorant of world politics. They couldn't point to Iraq on a map, but being raised on Rambo and Chuck Norris movies, they honestly believe that America is some kind of "righteous" nation, and that we can do no wrong.

(Take a look at the crowd of any Toby Keith concert if you want to see what these people look like)

You should always support your President. Even if you do not agree with him all the time.
