That depends on what type of rifle you're talking about. If you're talking about the AK-74 (223) using the same mags as a AK-47 (762) then yeah.
Since the 223 (5.56x46) and the 762 rounds have the same (close enough) cartridge length and case diameter, you could actually use the same magazines.
