    No.... It is not related to Kargil. It is related to 1971 War between India & Pakistan.

    Vijay Diwas is celebrated on 16th december to celebrate the 1971 Indian vicotory against pakistan

    Vijay Diwas means Victory Day is celebrated on 16 December to mark the Indian victory in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971.

    Vijay Diwas is celebrated on 16th december to celebrate the 1971 Indian vicotory against pakistan....... Bangladesh also commemorates the victory over Pakistan on the same day in 1971 on Victory Day.
