You need a multi-region player..check before you buy, or check the manufacturers instruction manual.

You'll need either a multi region DVD player, or the DVDs will have to be Region 0.

As others have answered, US DVDs' will not play on foreign DVD players and vice versa, due to the different video encoding systems used (NTSC for N.A. and PAL/SECAM for EU and Asia). You can get around this by buying a code free DVD player that has a special chip to play all region DVDs' and all video formats.

You will just waste your money unless you have a multi regional player. The player will reject the disc and you will not see a thing. There are sites you can check on the internet that show if you can hack your player using the remote control to play every region though.

US are region 1, UK are region 2.....usa region 1 will not play on a uk dvd player unless u have an american scart lead or a multiregion dvd players or disc

Most (80-90%) of players available in the UK can play them, they are normally multi region out of the box or at least easily hackable. So Yes.

It depends on the region of the dvd but if you search ebay you can make your DVD player compatitable for about £1.50.

85% of them depends on the dvd player. go for it bring them all

unless they are PAL rated then no. USA is classed as region 1 (ntsc) UK is classed as region 2 (pal) thus they are not compatible.
