when doin 70 i am pulling almost 4000 rpms?

am i going to hurt my engine??

it is a 91 nissan sentra 4 cylender and it runs perfectly smoothe but i worry about how many rpms i am running

Update:

oh and i dont have overdrive

(as far as i know)

    thats about right for an older 4 cyl.my vw turns 3500 at 70mph in od

    what does it redline at? 4 speed auto or 5 speed manual?

    If it is an auto is it going into overdrive?

    It will last a long time, 4000 isn't to much for it.

    you might mess up your engine , you should change your carbeurator.
