At what point do you stop saving a family member after they have defied you?

How are you saving them? Can they care for themself? Forgive yet also enable them to succeed on their own.

There's no point to stop from helping or saving anyone, as long as you think you can, why stop yourself from doing a right thing? Show it to your family that you are different, that you do not take vengeance.If you will not save your family member even if you are capable, then you are holding the grudge then you would'nt have peace of mind.God told us to love even our enemies, so c'mon,besides, it is still your family, forget the past, do the right thing and move on.God will bless you more if you will choose to do what is good. If you are trying to control how they act then you need to understand that it is impossible. Accept them for who they are instead of trying to remake them into who you think they should be.

If you are bailing them out of self-destructive behavior then it depends on how harmful it is to your mental, physical and spiritual well being as well as how much you are willing to suffer for the poor choices of someone else.
