How do you wear stockings in a fasionable way?

Are you talking about nylons or opaque tights? Opaque tights can be worn with a mid-thigh skirt and boots. Nylons are better with knee-length skirts and higher-heeled shoes (but not stiletto-type in winter)

I wear sheer stockings with everything from mu jeans to my business suits. I have pants suits and suits with pencil skirts, the skirt suits are a little more formal and sophisticated. I wear stockings everyday to work skirts, and with dress pants. Heels look tacky in trouser socks or knee highs. They also go great for casual wear like jeans and plaid skirts.

I prefer the kind with that need a garter belt, but many girls my age are opting for the stay up thigh highs. I don't like the large elastic tops so I like the garter belt, besides it matches my lingerie and a is a little sexier than a plain hold up.

Knee-high stockings can be worn with flats or cute pumps, maybe. If you mean stockings that cover the whole leg, those would look cute with a miniskirt, maybe a wool one and a cute pair of boots.

yeah by the way, miniskirts are NOT out of style...when I say mini, I mean 4 inches above the knee max. You can also wear stockings with a dress thats a little above the knee--just make sure to show them off =]

By wearing nice sheer thin ones. there is nothing as terrible as heavy stockings, sometimes they are a OK when wearing colored tights, but tan, and black stockings should be very thin and sheer. I wear mine with everything. Pants, skirts and even jeans. Sheer stockings are very sophisticated, and can be cute when worn with a pleated or A line skirt, ans very sexy with a straight or pencil skirt.

Team them up with sweaters and cotton shirts for cute, a nd with silk shirts and camisoles for sophisticated. Sheer black stockings are always best for evening, especially with black, and coffee for office and suntan for casual.

Sheer black looks great wit pants and jeans. I like the kind that take a garter belt, but the hold ups very popular with the younger girls too. The older women prefer pantryhose, probably because they hold you in, but I find them terribly uncomfortable that's why I always wear stockings.

wearing stockings is an art. you will need to consider carefully what you wear, or you risk flashing what you may nto want.

hold up or garter belt looks will depend in big part on personal preference, the quality of what you will buy and your tights.

i would recommend you look at suspender tights. a one piece device like pantyhose that is shaped like a garter belt. a lot more comfortable!

In a casual setting, with a simple skirt and blouse or sweater top and casual flats or low heel pump; Knee-Hi's also provide a good casual look if you wear pants. In a formal setting, with a nice dress and higher heels. Get a sheer hose slightly darker than your skin tone and you will look great.

if i wear ones with a cute color or pattern that cover my feet, i wear them with the "ballet" flats so you can see them, then i wear jeans or whatever type of pants with them.i don't recommend wearing them with mini-skirts because that is out of style. well, good luck =)
