a lady at work had the surgery about a year and a half ago and so did her sister... they both lost a lot of weight are gaining it back again... If you do not change your eating habits you will not lose weight...it is that simple. I am now about 140 pounds overweight... Starting in March thru Aug I lost 60 pounds by dieting and excerising... I have not lost any since august because life got in my way and i dont have time to exercise anymore..plus I kinda went off my diet. Just cut out sweets and fried foods. As I was losing weight I still ate my chocolate everyday... everything in moderation. Good luck

I was debating getting Gastic or the Lapband surgery. When I consulted my doctor he recommended I cleanse first. After I cleansed to two months of cleansing and changing the way I viewed food I lost 34 lbs in 2 months. I've decided not to get the surgery and just continue to cleanse my body of the toxins. I have 100 more lbs and I know that I will get there by this weekend. Check out the links below. A friend of mine lost 200 lbs in 8 months on this product. He's # 13 on the www.weightlosshalloffame.net. Good luck.

The people I know who had the lap band and bypass surgeries were okay for about a year and a half after and then they started gaining the weight back.
