I have never made any kind of racist statements at work,  in fact I barely even have time for chat at work.

Now my (our) boss has singled me out for special 'sensitivity' training that I do not need (but I do have to pay for it)  and made a bit of a pariah of me by circulating an email outlining  what I supposedly said to another co-worker  to our entire group.

How do I combat this?  The entire incident has been fabricated. 

This society has become a guilty till proven innocent   bunch of PC, non thinking, boneheads. 

As opposed to the ability to remember things one has seen, what is the term for ability to remember things one has heard?

I saw this infomercial this morning and didn't make a note of the number to call and order. There is no UK website, can anyone help me find this here in the UK? thanks

my dad ( a millionaire) just sent a my son ( who put himself thru college and served 6 years in the Air Force) $50 as a graduation gift. Is this the cheapest thing you ever heard? I am outraged! Should I call dad and tell him?

It's quite old, but in good condition, just looks scruffy after all the decorating and need to be cleaned and polished, how do I do this?

I can easily recall many lines of text, numbers, and "see" pictures. Although my vision is not great and I have needed glasses since the age of 11. I remember plain events (not just special ones) with clarity for many years afterwards.

As a former member of US Army, I am used to calling people by their last names, now I live in Britain, and people seem really offended by this, although they call each other really terrible names all the time and do not seem to take any offence. How doe you feel when addressed by your surname and why is it such a big deal over here?

Personally, I cannot wait for the smoking ban to come into effect, 1 July 2007. Although the platforms are technically "outdoors" the populace seems to use the platforms like ciggy sanctuaries, lighting up the minute they step off a train, or smoking like chimneys whilst waiting for a train. Still a platform is surely a public area, so will smoking on them be a thing of the past?
