Someone at work accused me of making racist statements?

I have never made any kind of racist statements at work,  in fact I barely even have time for chat at work.

Now my (our) boss has singled me out for special 'sensitivity' training that I do not need (but I do have to pay for it)  and made a bit of a pariah of me by circulating an email outlining  what I supposedly said to another co-worker  to our entire group.

How do I combat this?  The entire incident has been fabricated.

This society has become a guilty till proven innocent   bunch of PC, non thinking, boneheads.

There's  a lot of  jealousy in work places  i  was  called a  racist because of something i  posted online  out of work hours i was   called into the office over it, and warned. And here  we  are  7 years  later with the media  saying exactly the same thing  and nothing happening  to them

You should have emailed your boss (cc'ing everyone they sent the message to!) and refuted the comment, also mentioning how unprofessional it was to have such a public email sent out to all staff highlighting you, instead of speaking to you directly! Staying quiet (publicly) would have been seen as you being 'guilty'. I have had bosses try that on me (and I challenged them). I found it was a 'strong' personality in the office who was guilty, but the boss was too cowardly to challenge them directly, but used me to 'send a message' to THEM. (Being easy going, they thought me an easy target) By challenging directly, their plan backfired big time. Worried about getting the sack? They can't sack you over that (remain 'respectful' even though they don't deserve it!). Frankly, I wouldn't want to stay there - and would write in detail why I'm leaving when I resign.

I'd probably be talking to a labor law attorney.

They probably took what you said out of context or spreading rumours. Try talking to your boss about it and if he doesn’t do anything about it contact your labour board

Your statement alone tells me you probably DID say something racist.

Sue your employer (if you're telling the truth), and sue the individual for slander.  Offer to take a polygraph.
