If u make a straight hole in the ground until it reach the other side of earth, wat hapen when a man jumps in?
what will happen to the man or object drop in that straight hole that goes from this side of the earth to opposite side of earth ( just assume its possible to dig it). Will he pop out to other side of the earth towards the sky? assuming he got a suit and gadgets so he will not burn in the core area or any gadgets to complete the fall to other side of earth.

The object will lose energy due to air resistance and get stuck in the middle. Once you pass the halfway point you start getting pulled back towards the half way point.
Good Luck!

I had this question in physics and answered it.
The key to the answer is that there is no net gravity at
the center of the earth, so an object would accellerate
downward with the force reducing and finally to nothing
at the center of the earth ... but it would keep on due
to momentum right back up to the surface on the other side
of the planet where it would again stop, but this time due
to gravity pulling it back and slowing it down ... then it
would be the same ... start accellerating back to the
center of the earth and osciilate like that forever.
If wind resistance was involve it would lose a bit of energy
on each trip and end up at some point stopping at the Earth's
center for good.

I'm also assuming that his 'gadgets' allow him to ignore air resistance.
He will fall, faster and faster, until he passes the center of the earth. Then he'll start slowing down, until he reaches the other side of the earth, at which point he'll stop. If he fails to grab the rim of the hole, he'll fall back in again, and the process repeats. The time from one end of the tunnel to the other would be 42 minutes.
I"ve read several stories and articles about this. I googled "tunnel through the earth" and found quite a few, including the one listed as my Source:

when the man crosses the centre of the earth, the direction of gravity reverses and he will begin to lose speed. As he reaches the other end of the hole, his speed will become zero and hence he will be pulled back inside the hole. So the man will undergo a to and fro motion in the hole (actually a simple harmonic motion as we better know it)

in case you dig to the middle and attempt to dig added "down", it relatively is definitely up on the grounds which you're shifting removed from the middle, you will finally end up digging upwards by using fact the middle would be pulling you to itself. you are able to dig a hollow by way of from opposite ends of the international nonetheless. (initiate digging at the two factors) And if a guy falls in the hollow, the centre of the earth could in simple terms pull the guy to the centre, so the guy would be floating on the centre of the earth and he could regrettably be burnt and cooked there for eternity witht the diggers by using overpowering warmth on the middle of the Earth.

He'll fall toward the center until he gets there. Then he will be pushed to all sided of the hole at the center.

he will float at the middle... he wont be able to reach the side of the earth... ^^
