Why did they give me 'specially constructed vehicle' title for a jeep?

There's nothing unusual about my jeep except that it was in a wreck before I bought it, and it used to have a salvage title. Why would it get this new weird title saying 'specially constructed'? And what does this mean?

That means that it was a salvaged vehicle that was rebuilt. I hope you didn't pay full retail value for it.

If it was totaled in a wreck and claimed as salvage, then it was 'specially constructed' to be drivable again. All this means is your jeep was in a wreck, nothing more and nothing less.

The wording means the same thing as salvage title, the DMV did this in case you tried to resell the Jeep as one that wasn't considered totaled.

That means that the vehicle is a rebuilt salvage vehicle. It shows that there is salvage history on the jeep.

specially constructed just a fancy name for a totaled, rebuilt car. this means the car was involved in a accident and the insurance company deemed it totaled, then it was purchased by a dealership and body work was done to restore the car back to new.
