Drivers for HP laptop Presario V3000 in Ubuntu Linux?

When changing over from Windows over to Ubuntu Linux, I want to know where I can get the display drivers and also the drivers for the wifi card. Am planning to change over to Ubuntu 6.10 (The Edgy Eft)

    First bur the system restore desks before starting anything else. That way you can return to Windows XP in the computer's original state if your Ubuntu installation fails.

    Then, just load Edgy Eft. Most of the drivers will be self-detected by Ubuntu. the biggest problem you will probably have will be the wireless driver because the computer is so new. Older wireless cards are well supported while the newest drivers may not yet be available. Good Luck.

    convinced it truly is feasible. it is going to resize your NTFS partition and squeeze contained in the walls necessary for setting up Ubuntu. you'll see yet another 3 walls created - swap, /, /abode. having said that you may also use WUBI which will installation Ubuntu interior your NTFS partition.
