The US Economy is slowing down....how soon do you think will you start seeing job cuts?

January is going to be a nasty, nasty month employment wise.

Many companies are waiting until after Christmas to hand out the bad news. And many companies will be filing bankruptcy and passing their failures onto their vendors, who will then be forced to cut more costs and jobs and potentially file bankruptcy.

The recent passages of some finance credit bills are having a horrible impact on both companies and consumers. Minimum payments have tripled, as well as all your basic costs (lights, heat, water, gasoline, insurance).

What can "we" do about it? Quit filing frivolous lawsuits, start buying American made products and start informing congress that the days of government workers having all the perks and benefits that taxpayers do not have are over.

Its slowing down for sure the place I work came in one day and told the 500 and some workers they were closing the doors end of discussion no severance nothing and they are a large farm equipment manufacturer.We made more profit than any other plant but a buy out of a bankrupt company and then letting those people in charge spelled doom for us.Well on the bright side they will all be out of jobs someday because they will bankrupt both of the business's.And the other countries are booming because they are sending the jobs from this country everywhere but the quality is not there.

It may take about 2-3 months for the US. Other parts of the world may be slower - maybe the impact will reach them some 10-12 months later.
