    Death, Dismemberment, Brain Injury...for self and others.

    You not only hurt yourself when you do stupid crap like drive a vehicle when you're impaired by drugs or alcohol or even sleep deprivation and anxiety. You put the people you are sharing the road with in danger, too.

    A good point to make in your paper is that it's not just the driver that is put at risk.

    Source(s): My 2 brothers were run over by a drunk driver while they were walking home from school. They were walking on the sidewalk.
