A Charlie Brown Christmas question?

In A Charlie Brown Christmas, when Lucy turns "The Doctor is Out" sign over it then reads, "The Doctor is Real In" instead of just "in". I don't get it. Can you please tell me why it says that? Thank's!!! :)

When the cartoon " A Charlie Brown Christmas " was made, back in 1966, the hippie movement was just starting. Lucy was just being hip to the times, and her sign symbolized the use of language for that day. Actually, I'm surprised her "out" sign didn't read 'The Doctor is Far Out". Also, she still likes to pull his football when he goes to kick it, too!

In the scene where Charlie Brown consults Lucy for psychiatric help, her sign (as read from the front) says, "The Doctor Is Real In". However, when seen from the side angle, the sign simply says, "The Doctor Is In".

Not sure why this is....but thought I'd share this.

You must be very young. It's a play on words, as if to say very hip, with it, cool, etc.
