After installing FC6, I get an error "sync out of range".?
After installing Fedora Core 6, I get an error "sync out of range". I have nVidia 7300GT PCI Express, P4 3.06 GHz, D102Gcc Intel Express Chipset, 1GB DDR2 533 MHz, Samsung 793s 17" Monitor. I believe the problem is with the graphics card. I am an Linux novice. Help me please.

This happened because while doing your X server configuration, you set the sync values that is outside the range of what your monitor can handle.
Edit your xorg.conf, usually found at /etc/X11/xorg.conf and change the monitor sync values. The good way to do this, is take a look at your monitor manual and find out the horizonal sync and vertical refresh values and use them in the configuration file.
