How do you spoy an online predator?
I was recently approached on my facebook page by someone I didn't know, although their profile seemed convincing, I reported the person because there was something eery about his presence(i.e. he didnt have a profile pic, he wanted to call me, he only had 4 "friends" listed on his page, and they were all young, black girls.) So I reported him to the facebook authorities. Did I do the right thing? Or am I making a big deal of nothing? How do you spot an online predator?

i dont think that you made a big deal out of it. . .if they dont have a picture, or they have a picture of someone that you can tell is not that person. . .also if the person friends are only one gender, age, and race, it shows that he is kind of targeting one particular type of person and obviously not wanting to make friends. . .ou probably did the right thing

In general, anyone who is too persistent or will not take 'no' for an answer would give me the creeps. You have to trust your feelings. It's probably better to be safe than sorry. If the guy is innocent, then you just caused him a minor problem. No big deal.
