Someone stole my iPod and I have to buy a new one. Will I be able to reload the current music that I have?

All righty, someone stole my iPod. I am forced to buy a new one, and that's fine. It's my fault it got stolen. I left it out at work and someone picked it up when I wasn't looking.

My question is that I have iTunes already with a poop-ton of songs downloaded (that I've already paid for). When I hook up my new iPod, am I going to be able to keep those songs and just download them to my new iPod (since they are technically on my computer and not on the internet), or am I going to have to buy ALL of these songs again (which I PAID for 184 on iTunes @ 0.99 each = $184!!!!)?

Any help would be appreciated.

Yeah you'll be able to keep them because they already been downloaded on your computer and you paid for them..the only way to lose them is if you erase the file or you format your hard drive

I easily have an iPod and that i purchase my music from iTunes and on occasion i purchase albums. identifying to purchase music helps the music industry so that's by some potential extra powerful than downloading it illegally. that's by some potential costly. some songs are $0.ninety 9 on an analogous time as others are $a million.29. Albums value in any different case. some albums selection from $7-a minimum of $14.

Yes, you can re-download them again to your Ipod and you can download them to a CD. It might be a good idea to backup your songs and other important files though.

    What they said!

But, why are you paying $1 per song? Use some P2P services!

Yes! When you get the new one, just plug it up and tell iTunes to synch to it.
