It's probably just the discharge that women usually get before their period. If you had a change in birth control, eating habits, or stress, they can all make your period take a while longer. The brownish discharge could be what was left over from your last period.
If you're really concerned, make an appointment with your OBGYN!

well it really depends on you if you are used to skipping periods it probably means that one of your ovaries doesn't work and only one of them is dropping the eggs, if that is the case i would advise that you go see a doc emmediatly!! if it isn't the case then mabey u just took the test to early and mabey u r pregnant, wait another week and take the test again!! good luck!!

brown discharge is your period probably. you don't always have to have a lot of blood. that's your lining that's coming out

youre spotting! PANIC! AHH!
Wait a week and test again. Spotting is common, so are missed periods, late periods, short period, long periods, and doubled periods.
Doesnt mean anything.

Stress, other medicine.. can affect your periods too. Also noted above, it could just be your period. Not all periods are the same!
