The operating parameters between automatic versus standard transmissions are quite different, the most obvious bieng idle speed, not to mention P.C.M.(computer) input/output sensors and actuators. quite frankly, do not try it as your engine, will not operate properly. This causes problems you do not want to have to deal with.

Hey i'm at work and have answered at least 10 questions thus far. Lol, no absolutely not. You cannot use the engine computer from a manual transmission in an automatic vehicle or vice-versa. If someone is trying to sell you one then don't fall for it. Of course i'm talking about vehicles from 1980 to present, I wasn't born before 1980. LOL

Theory says no, but if you want to try it and for some mysterious reason it works, then repost with the results. Now if your car blows up, well buyer beware ;) Good luck!
