    fake - I am allergic to real christmas trees. It's not too creative, but it's the truth

    Please don't choose Homer Simpson, that's just dumb

    Well, you really have to consider the pro's and cons of each....

    I grew up with real trees for Christmas, and I love them - going out with my family to pick one out and take it home, the smell of fresh tree in the house, etc... However, they dry out, drop needles, and can become a fire hazard. And you have to get a new one each year (and boy are they getting spendy!)

    With a fake tree, you buy it once and use it every year, and you never have to water it or vaccuum up the needles. Some come pre-lit, and you can buy scented ornaments to make the house smell like an authentic tree.

    Fake= conveniance, Real= nostalgia.

    Work or play that is the difference. The pine needles just drive me crazy, and I find myself vacuuming three and four times a day. Watering the tree to make sure the house does not catch on fire has been a chore, but the smell of Christmas Past, Today's Memories and the visions of Christmas Future is unmistably worth it.

    ok if u get a fake tree it is so much easier to set up and tear down but u wont get the smell, so u get a real wreath. if u get a real tree it takes forever to set it up and tear it down but u get the smell

    Which should you purchase?

    Real smell great and look great....but the pine needles are a pain!

    Fake look fine...and are cheaper to purchase just once and store away!
