I broke my big toe about 6 days ago. I feel like I can wear normal shoes now, but the doctor said I should wear a hard sole shoe for at least 4 weeks. Can I wear regular shoes if I can handle the pain? What could happen if I don't wear the shoe the doctor gave me?

I had tooth extracted about 3 weeks ago and I ended up with a dry socket. I had it packed only once about 2 1/2 weeks ago. The blood clot that formed is now feeling like it is going to fall out. Is this normal? I am freaking out because I don't want a another dry socket -I would rather have my hand slammed in a car door every hour than get another one!

I was diagnosed with a dry socket 3 days ago and I am wondering how long the pain lasts. The dentist is filled the hole with the something and she said that I didn't need to come back for changes of the dressing. I am just wondering how long the pain lasts - I can't take it anymore!!

and the blot, I think is coming out. I woke and there was what seemed like a clot right on my tongue. I was having EXTREME pain yesterday and the extraction site hurts today, but as badly. What could this be?

My cat is obsessed with licking and sometimes eating tape. We try and hide it from her, but she literally has a 6th sense for searching out tape. Is this harmful to her? She does have a sensitive stomach and we feed her Eukanuba Sensitive Stomach formula (and we also give her some wet food as well) so we know her cat food is good for her so she shouldn't be lacking any essential nutrients. What can we do??

I just took 50mg of Trazodone about an hour ago. It is my first night taking the medication for my insomnia. It didn't do anything except make me a little dizzy and that passed. Would it be safe for me to take tylenol pm or ativan?

The other night my cousin (whose 26) woke me up in the middle of the night acting CRAZY! He said the police were surrounding my house (when I checked no one was there) and he couldn't stand up straight and he was slurring his speech. He then proceeded to take off all of his clothes and run around the house. His moods were changing dramatically - he would be angry and then he would be crying. His pupils were extremely dilated. Also, he said his heart was racing. He claims that he didn't take any drugs. He said he drank rum, but I've seen him drunk and that's not how he acts and he didn't smell of liquor. Please help! I need to know what he was on because I want him out of my house if he is doing this crap.

I have to have my 2 1/2 year kitty declawed (I know that it is inhumane, but the only alternative is giving her away and she is actually kind of mean so nobody else would want my little fur-baby. I have tried soft claws and she chews on them 'til they come off and I am doing the less invasive laser declaw, but I digress). Anyway, the day she is supposed to come from the vet's office I am moving into a different apartment (they don't allow cats to have front claws, thus my dilemma. In any event, do you think that it would be too traumatic for her to have the procedure and move in such a short period of time? Any advice would be helpful!
