Despite what the first poster to your question suggests, there are obviously people who have taken that route on Yahoo! Answers. I took it a couple of times myself.

The timetable will depend on the day of week (particularly if it's during the week or weekend) and which train you take. The stretch between Cambridge and London's King Cross is notoriously full, busy and may run a late during the peak times (between 7-9 am and 5-7 pm on weekends). There are some express trains during this time.

    On the week days:

The last train to Cambridge leaves at 00:07 and arrives 1:32 h later. But if you take the one before at 23:15, it takes less than an hour. (55 min).

    On Saturday:

The last train to Cambridge still leaves at 00:07, but there are also trains that leave at 23:58 and 00:04., taking 1:21h and 1:12h respectively.

    On Sunday:

The last two trains leave at

    21:28 & 21:52, taking 1:22h and 1:02h respectively.

    Have fun!

It's highly unlikely that anybody here knows the answer you're looking for. Either go to a local rail station and ask the station master what you want to know or check to see if the rail company you'll be traveling on has a web site. If they do, all of their scheduling info will be posted there.
