*Not* another "Am I Pregnant" question- I SWEAR!!!!?
When looking back at the weeks between ovulation and finding out you were pregnant what signs/sympotoms did you have that you ignored/missed? Or did you have early symptoms and brushed them off to other things (PMS?)? Or did you know you were pregnant because of the symptoms? How long after conceptioon did they start?
I've read Taking Charge and I don't fall into any of her scenarios... really this question is just out of curiosity for fun.
I POAS yesterday (way way too early) and it was a BFN - but my BBs are numb, tingly and almost sore - can't quite describe how they feel - different then they ever have. I do get tender bbs before AF but this is totally different.... Have to wait until Christmas morning to test again...

All my symptoms were like pms symptoms. Its not unusual for me to skip periods so I didn't suspect. Plus being diagnosed as peri-menopausal by some idiot doctors...when I didn't get my period for two months I just figured, well that's it I'm menopausal @ 36! The only thing that I'd say now that I should have been suspicious about was every evening after dinner I'd get nauseated a little...like man I wish I hadn't of eaten that. And I was extremely tired. Literally had been sleeping my entire weekends away...I just thought I was either recouping from working 2 jobs and/or I was depressed. Don't know what provoked me to buy that HPT..considering after 15 years of being infertile and 2 years of fertility treatments and not one positive test, I never in a million years expected it to be positive. Which explained why I had stood in front of the fridge drinking out of one of those plastic lemons and I realized all the pickles, pickle juice and relish had been devoured...which I haven't eaten plain since I was a kid. Of course it took me seeing my little alien on the ultrasound to believe it. Even now as I look down at my big ole belly, disbelief still hits me sometimes.

This is silly, but I didn't even really suspect I was pregnant (because I had 3 negative tests) until one day I was having lunch with my husband and his mother and I just started crying. At that point I looked back and realized that I had eaten more hotdogs in the last 2 weeks than I had in the last 10 years. I know, EWWWW! That was sunday afternoon. I finally got a faint positive on wednesday.

I have never carried to term, so I don't know TOO much.. I know my eating habits changed. One day I wanted meat, and the other day the only thing I could eat was sweet stuff. I also know that my breasts were SO sensitive that they just hurt.. all the time. I was also VERY VERY moody. I would cry over everything! Of course, after I was pregnant for a couple weeks.. I had a miscarriage. Sorry can't help you more! It's different with different women. We are all different, and have different bodies.. :) Good Luck!

I was charting and ,ucus checking. When temp. charting you can know you are pregnant before any test comes up positive. It worries me to see all these woman asking all of these basic questions about their bodies and their cycles….and then getting all these different answers – and usually most of these answers are WRONG!
This is my standard answer......... go get a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler
This book will help you with all of your menstrual and conception questions. It’s for all women - not just women trying to conceive. It covers everything from temperature to mucus checking, etc.. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! It tells you how to figure out your cycle and what to expect. My husband and I tried for a year to conceive and nothing happened. The first month I used the book we conceived right away. Now I am due Feb 2. It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths!

I didn't have any sympthoms after the ovulation. As a matter of fact, I barely had any later in the pregnancy. When I was around 6-7 weeks, I felt a little nauseous, but never actually got sick. Now, I'm 16 weeks... I'm not even showing... and the only thing that actually reminds me that I'm pregnant is the lack of my period. Isn't that terrible???

with my two sons I was very nausious and dizzy and that's what prompted me to take a pregancy test! However this time around I was just really tired..no other symptoms..but I had a funny feeling & my 4 year old son had dreams that I was pregnant with a little girl! So the day before his birthday & my expected period..I took a pregnancy test (actually 3 lol) and they all came out positive..and wouldn't you know it..I'm having a GIRL lol he was right!! GOOD LUCK

I noticed a significant change in my breasts. REALLY tender and swollen. I also noticed that my urine smelled a bit different. These changes I noticed almost immediately. During ovulation I didn't notice any changes, though, I can ALWAYS feel when my egg releases, it's a little stabbing pain in my side.
