Is it true that being gay can be transmitted by genetics or be a genetic disease?

Some people say that you can be gay if another one from your family was gay first. They consider it as a genetic disease. Could it be true or not? What do you think?

It has been proved that homosexuality is a genetic trait and not able to be controlled. Being gay is NOT a disease. A disease can be treated with medications or therapy - homosexuality cannot and those that are gay should not be forced to believe this.

What about Huntingtons or Alzheimer? the point isn't that genetic defects and ailments exist, the point is that you anticipate some thing that's genetic ought to immediately be a genetic illness or disease. The examples of eye colour and hair colour coach you incorrect: no, basically because some thing is genetic does not recommend that is a disease, as shown with the help of those examples. you need to extremely use some education in uncomplicated common sense. playstation i'm not declaring being gay is genetic. basically because that's in-born does not recommend genetics. basically putting forward the glaring flaw on your 'common sense'.

    no

just like being straight cannot be transmitted

it's a preference, and some people don't realize they're gay. one of my friends only just realized he was gay after having had girlfriends and everything! ^_^ then he made out with a guy and liked it and realized why all his relationships had been missing something....a guy!

Not at all. If you are around it all the time....you may have the same feelings as homosexuals, but its totally not genetic.

The other gay question that I don’t really know. I don’t really know why people turned gay unless they wanted to, or feel it. Talk about the gay things, I heard it somewhere that all dogs are gays, I don’t think they do. Anyway, I hope to get my two points for I don’t really know?
