I have seen many question asking why men don't put the seat down. Why don't women put the seat UP?

Actually, I think my mom trained me from birth to put the seat down. LOL, so what i have done with this situation, i put the seat down and the lid also. That way the ladies have to raise the lid before they can sit on the toilet.

I've had some of the females in my house ask me why i do this, and I just smile and say if you don't like it, get over it.

You raise it up, you put it down. You dirty it, you clean it. Don't be a selfish pig expecting maid service. That's not what women are for. Honor your wife and quit calling her lazy to justify your sluggardly behavior. I'm sure if you argue about something that takes so little energy, I know your wife will not likely stick around for very long. Maybe you should think of treating her like a queen and not be a spoiled rotten brat. No amen here because this is just a symptom of a deeper wrong attitude. Mark my words, it's a whole lot of little put-downs and disrespectful things like this that tear a relationship to shreds.

Yes, I have posed this question to my husband before, but people fall in the toilet when the seat is up, so its really more of a safety issue isn't it?

Well, I guess it's so that we won't fall in! Guys leave the seat up and girls go to use the bathroom and don't look first...in the toilet we go!

All I care about is flushing and hand washing. Toilet seat procedure be damned!
