Problem opening ANY links in body of yahoo emails, will not open by clicking on them?

Several days ago my yahoo email quit allowing me to be able to click on ANY links in the body of ANY emails. I get several newsletters and can't read any of the articles because the cursor just hovers over the link but when I click it, it will not connect, doesn't do anything but make the header bar across the top of my screen blink for a second. I've ran virus scan, and all the basics, but still no results.

Also, my yahoo task bar will not open my mail or link me to yahoo answers, I have to enter the address manually. My outlook express mail is working just fine, so I can't figure out what the problem may be (?). Any advice is appreciated, thanks.

*Happy Holidays*

I don't know if this answer will help you, but I had the same problem a couple of days ago, and it had resolved itself by last night. I was also having difficulty clicking on many links when I did a search and I often got the message "cannot connect to server". I got that message too when I tried to open yahoo e-mails, but hot mail worked just fine and I could use YA with no problem. I had decided that it must be an ISP problem, but I also decided (upon the advice of our techie computer science daughter) to wait until after Christmas to see if it would resolve itself, and sure enough it did. She said it is the type of glitch that happens from time to time and usually resolves itself in a day or two. So I guess my advice is to keep checking it, and hopefully it will be resolved soon.

I use Firefox as well, and I had this issue for several weeks, but it's working for me now. I think it's a Yahoo issue, but I do use NoScript in Firefox, and when I disabled it, I was able to view the messages. There were many more IE users who were experiencing the same thing than Firefox, though, which leads me to think it's something with Yahoo scripting. Anyway....... You can view the e-mails by opening them, then clicking on "Printable view", or by clicking 'save message text' in the lower right corner of the message. Good luck! :D
