Has there ever been a CONFIRMED case of a snake killing and eating a person?

I know there have been supposed cases, and pictures, but has there ever been and actual confirmed case?

Yes, the reticulated python. It gets to 33 feet and can eat a full grown 5'10", 170 pound man whole, and has. Not just children like smaller snakes. It happened in Asia. I searched all sorts of news databases to try to locate the news article but couldn't get it to come up for some reason. Yes, there are CONFIRMED cases of exceedingly large snakes eating people, confirmed man-eaters.

Plenty of examples of killing, not too many of eating, but there was a South American case some years ago where an anaconda swallowed a man. He was lying dead drunk on the side of the road, otherwise he would probably have gotten away.

A few years ago on the front page of a Malaysian newspaper was a man with his head and shoulders swallowed by a constrictor, probably a Burmese Python!?

A person of small stature is no problem for a very large python considering they eat antelope in Africa and Kangaroos in Australia.
