my employer doesn't want to pay us until after the holidays. Is this legal? I live in Missouri, usa.?

I work in homecare and the delay will be three days.

Update:

my normal payday would be Friday the 29th and she wants to pay us on the 2nd of January.

wow, it sure doesnt sound legal. call the labor relations office in your area, they know all of the laws and will lay the smack down if you are being wrongfully treated.

It is not illegal if it is your normal pay period. Holidays do not affect your pay days. Some places will pay early but do not have to.
